Collective and Project Co-ordinator

Debbie Jelenke is an event and project coordinator. She graduated in Business Management with a Diploma of Professional Practice from the University of Greenwich in 2016.

Debbie joined Stemettes at its inception in 2013 as a volunteer. Maintaining her relationship with the social enterprise, Debbie became a full time member of the team, undertaking her year placement with the organisation. At Stemettes, Debbie managed all public events, also running workshops in various schools across the UK and Ireland, endowing schoolgirls with STEM skills and knowledge. Debbie was also on board for the 2015 Outbox incubator initiative which developed the business and STEM ideas of females aged 11-22 from around the EU.

Since 2012, Debbie has been gaining insight and experience into the world of events from corporate conferences to high end dinners and charity events, covering both front end and back end roles. Debbie currently works with body>data>space (BDS) to produce projects promoting art, cultural, science and technology conversations. Highlights with BDS are working with a talented team of creatives to produce the largest immersive art installation of FutureFest 2016, entitled Collective Reality.

Debbie enjoys the convergence of art and technology within events while maintaining a business overview with each one.
