Vesna Grandes

Vesna trained at Tala Dance Centre in Croatia and was an attached artist and performer between 2001 and 2002. She moved to London in 2003 where she studied and trained at London Contemporary Dance School and Birkbeck University of London. Vesna’s focus is on teaching and choreographing and she has been working with children and young people from 2005, making projects and performances. She works for Royal Academy of Dance and their ‘Step Into Dance’ programme and is currently studying Theatre Dance at British Ballet Organisation. Vesna created her own company in 2006 Dance Wicked! which promotes dance in schools as a part of Physical Education activity, or as school clubs which allows students to have quality dance in their own school, giving them opportunity to express themselves, be creative and to perform. Vesna has been associate artist with body>data>space since 2005 and has worked on many of the dance performance and education projects across that time.
