Terry Tyldesley

Producer – Marketing and Development

Terry is a producer, musician, and film-maker, bringing creative projects to stage and screen, both her own, and those of artists across many disciplines. 

At body>data>space Terry stage managed the Collective Reality installation for Nesta’s FutureFest, and is managing the project on tour. 

In her role as Producer of Music Tech Fest, Terry programmed the #MTFBerlin festival in 2016, curating the event with nearly a hundred artists across two main stages over three days, as well as managing a team that delivered a programme of Labs, Installations and Hack Camps. Terry recently managed the MTF educational event #MTFSparks in Genoa, Italy, and speaks several European languages. 

As a producer and director at the BBC she made documentaries, current affairs films, and live studio programmes, regularly working with political and cultural leaders across the US and Europe. She has won a Royal Television Society award and a BAFTA nomination, and has made music documentaries and music videos. Her most recent film work is for Martyn Ware’s Illustrious Company. 

Terry makes music as half of electropunk duo Feral Five with composer Andrew Smith. Their songs of dystopian futures, tech and desire, get frequent BBC Radio 6 Music airplay and have been described by Louder Than War as “brilliant”. They will be performing at a Picasso-inspired National Portrait Gallery Lates event in January 2017. 

The founder of music and tech blog Kitmonsters, and the E8Create collective, Terry has also worked on 3D printing and Minecraft educational project Printcraft, moderated panels at music events, and given presentations on music tech.
