Bains Numériques #5 – international digital arts Festival

12 – 19^th June 2010 – Enghien-les-Bains, near Paris

This year’s festival sees music performances by Laurent Garnier, Yuksuk and Moderat, plus installation and exhibitions presented throughout Enghien-les-Bains for this excellent week long digital arts programme.

The festival also hosts professional round table meetings bringing together experts from industry, creative and cultural sectors and academia to discuss current digital art economy models.

Ben Arora (Education Director, NESTA) will present the work of NESTA and Ghislaine Boddington the project MADE.

International competitions for dance and visual arts with technologies take place each year and this year Ghislaine Boddington is part of the Visual Arts/Technology Jury.

body>data>space – interactive design collective based in East London who have advocated for the living body to be at the heart of the digital debate since the early 1990s. Our focus is on body responsive technologies, virtual physical networks, interactive interfaces, user centred experiences and collaborative sharespaces.

We create fascinating connections between performance, architecture, new media and virtual worlds. We make and commission events/installations, we curate exhibitions and debates, consult on creativity and technology and present into a wide variety of sectors on the living body and technological evolutions. We aim to enable body knowledge to be shared through technologies.
