Ghislaine Boddington receives IX Immersion Experience Visionary Pioneer Award 2017

body>data>space Founder and Creative Director Ghislaine Boddington received the prestigious Visionary Pioneer Award from SAT at the IX Immersion Experience 2017 in Montreal, Canada, for her extensive and innovative work in digital arts, and “passionate and inspirational engagement towards embodied intelligence”.

The award is in recognition of her role as a global thought leader, and major driving force in immersive experiences and body responsive technology. Ghislaine, an artist, curator, researcher and director has advocated the use of the entire body as a canvas for digital interaction, for over 25 years, and is a Reader in Digital Immersion at the University of Greenwich, London.

SAT (Society for Arts and Technology) is recognized internationally for its active, leading role in developing immersive technologies, virtual reality, and creative use of high-speed networks, as well as being a space for pivotal events including in its Satosphère dome.
