me and my shadow is an international telepresence experiment between London, Paris, Istanbul and Brussels, by UK artist Joseph Hyde, co-produced in the UK by body>data>space and National Theatre as part of the EU project MADE.

Dance with strangers, virtually feel, touch and breathe, meet your friends or family in Brussels, Istanbul or Paris.

Premiere in London as part of National Theatre Inside Out: 10th – 26th June 2012 @ National Theatre, London. Free / All day event.

Next step for Robots & Avatars

Image > Next step for Robots & AvatarsThe Robots & Avatars Exhibition came to a close at the end of May at FACT, Liverpool after 10 weeks, with nearly 20.000 people visiting the Exhibition and exciting international press and TV coverage. Have a look at the BBC Click episode here.

Robots and Avatars showcases the most exciting visions and innovations from international artists, designers and architects, exploring their impact on the future of work and play. The Exhibition will be presented in London, at Europe House in September 2012, so get ready for more cutting edge interaction blurring the boundaries between physical and virtual worlds! It will tour onwards to KIBLA (Slovenia) and AltArt, Cluj-Napoca (Romania) in 2012.

The Forum with Keynotes, Round tables and Debates will explore international co-production and collaboration models for digital arts. The Exhibition of digital artworks will run from 19th- 28th September.

Owl and the Pussycat, part of Hidden London

Friday 20th July 2012

body>data>space is working in partnership with Watermans and local schools in Brentford on workshops and an AV light and sound performance outcome following "Owl and Pussycat" a new water-themed opera directed and performed by the ROH2 (Royal Opera House) which premieres on Brentford Lock before floating along London's canals to the Olympic Park, as part of Hidden London.
